Welcome to the Mt A Physical Education department training days on how to create multimodal presentations.

The plan is to go through the entire process as if you were a student in your class, with built in time to discuss how to implememt the process with your class.  The learning goals for these two days are:
  • you will be able to use the suggested process to create a video
  • you will be able to capture a wide range of multimedia resources
  • you will be able to create some multimedia resources
  • you will be able to use iMovie on your iPad to create a video
  • you will be able to export your iMovie from your iPad for sharing
  • you will be able to use Video Pad on your laptop to create a video
  • you will be able to export a movie from Video Pad for sharing
  • and most importantly you will have some pedagogical strategies in your gym bag to support your students in their creation of multimodal presentations.
  • time permitting - other easy to use multimodal apps

Morning Session
  • Show and Tell - time to show your iMovies to the Group
  • Gathering resources - revision, questions, practise time on PC

Middle Session
  • Step 4 - Creating with Video Pad
  • Step 5 - Exporting the Finished Product

Supplied Lunch

Afternoon Session
  • Some easy to use apps that may be useful in PE
    • Skitch + Snapguide
    • Some other things I'll think up before then
